Dr. James MacLean is a board-certified allergist who has been practicing on the North Shore of Boston since 2000. He received his MD degree from McGill University School of Medicine before completing an internal medicine residency at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, Canada. Dr. James MacLean completed his allergy and immunology fellowship training at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) in Boston and remains on the faculty of the MGH and Harvard Medical School.
Dr. James MacLean is a member of the Partners Asthma Center. He is a past president of the New England Society of Allergy and is on the executive committee of the Massachusetts Allergy Society. He is the Medical Advisor for the Food Allergy Group of the North Shore which is a support group for parents of children with food allergies. He is also a member of the Partners Asthma Center.
